LAVC Rising Scholars

Rising Scholars is a program that supports students who have lived experience with the criminal justice system, such as incarceration, probation, or juvenile detention. This includes both directly impacted students and students who have been impacted by a family member who is system-impacted. Rising Scholars offers dedicated staff and counseling faculty to assist students with resources and referrals to support academic and career goals.
